The word “stuck” is best used when you are discussing driving in the snow as in, “ Even though we were in a Jeep, we were stuck in a big snowdrift.” The word can also apply to your love life as in, “I’ve been stuck on you since our very first date”. Or even, “That damn door is always stuck.” The word should not be used when making decisions about your career or your life.
People can get stuck because they are unwilling or unable to make a choice or make a decision and the word “whatever” enters the vocabulary. If you are feel you are unable to change a situation or unable to move forward try one simple technique. Stop saying “whatever” and make decisions. You might be surprised at how quickly things can get unstuck.
