STUCK IN THE TRAP OF WORTHLESS SCROLLING!
There are various things in the world that do not operate precisely as they appear; everything has its own way of working and people's perspectives, creating a unique mix that could never be or even coincidentally be the point of resemblance or understandability. "Is being meaningless also something that makes sense!" is the point. Okay, OK, don't overthink it; the topic of today's concern is something linked to “Dekhoon Main ?? Yaa, Dekhoon Kudarat Ke Nazaare”.
I was going down the sidewalk beside the new building on my university campus when the rain began to fall. Like everyone else, I raced to find cover near the entrance. Within a few minutes, everyone had finished taking pictures and videos, and it was time to get into their social media profiles and begin sharing the first raindrops. I'm not sure if it's innate or not, but I do a lot more observing than other people. I started looking at each one and noticed that they were all glued to their phones, some watching reels, others watching tales, and some watching some useless youtube clips full of insane noise and heavy laughter. Anyway, no criticism to them; it's just for my grasp of what we've been up to.
On the way back home, I ran towards a friend with whom I couldn't communicate since he was preoccupied with stupid and pointless things that didn't necessitate my presence at all. So I sat down and began talking, and he told me how he spends his days on social media and scrolling through reels whenever he has time. He stated to me that he doesn't have time to think about the future and that his critical thinking skills had died. In the midst of this terrifying circumstance, his hand gravitated back to his phone because of the notification, and he stood up to check it. I stopped him there and advised him to talk instead of staying in the fake realm of virtual life.
He got a mental breakdown in front of me and started crying, told me that whenever someone asks him for any kind of discussion, he tries to move on and spends all day scrolling. I could comprehend and connect to a portion of his narrative. I didn't have a long chat with him for long, I tried not to be too harsh and to explain with a reasonable range of understanding. We had a healthy discussion about what is essential in life and how running away from reality might harm the future. It was also discussed how to avoid the tedious chore of scrolling. The crucial and positive part is that we agreed that the situation is serious and has to be addressed, so being frightened to think about the future is not an option. So, eventually, we came to the conclusion that we needed a plan of execution for each day, that we needed to add more living activities, and that we needed to avoid the activity that pulls us to the meaningless living that actually leads us to leave days of life.

The talk finished with the notion of life, and finally, after a long time, I had a good discussion with myself, the one who is inside me, who has the potential to overcome anything, but the barrier is outside, who says that some things are not feasible. Now I've given up on all the stories of feasibility in favor of a single goal: If I want to accomplish something, I have to do it without hesitation. The waste of time at such a young age was not something I intended to live, therefore let's start looking up to regular routines and allow brains to generate ideas and be truly creative.
Success lies in the satisfaction of living!
