Stuck at Home? Consider Contributing to the June 2020 Psychosynthesis Quarterly
Our Theme is "The Power of Life Purpose” with Guest Editor Richard Schaub, PhD
We here at the AAP hope all of you are well and safe - and that no matter where you are, you are observing safe "social distancing" practices in these uncertain times. It's a perfect time to have your voice heard. Please consider contributing to the quarterly!
As psychosynthesis practitioners, we have the good fortune of representing an approach that adds higher consciousness to the map of human psychology. Chief among the characteristics of higher consciousness is the hard-wired drive to lead a life of purpose and contribution. Growing research shows that living a life of purpose is actually a health practice along with diet and exercise. In our June issue of the quarterly, we will be featuring articles that focus on the quiet power of life purpose and its impact on our feelings, choices and actions. We invite you to send articles in which you assisted in the discovery and awareness of purpose in a client’s life – and in your own.
Send your articles, exercises, poems, photography, and art to:
The Psychosynthesis Quarterly accepts announcements, ideas, reviews of books and events, articles, poetry, art, exercises, photos, and letters. Tell us what has helped your life and work, what can help others, and examples of psychosynthesis theory in action. We welcome articles from all who study, teach, coach, counsel, and play with psychosynthesis.
We hope our suggestion of from 250 to 1500 words may serve as a guideline that helps your writing. We prefer that you use the APA style guide when possible, for things like punctuation and references. Articles should be submitted in word.doc format with all images sent as jpegs or pngs.
Announcements, book reviews, and upcoming events are also welcome, with a request that nonmembers who wish to submit advertising make a donation to AAP. To donate, click here.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS May 1, 2020.
Send all submissions to: [email protected]
