The Shoulder That Won’t Get Better:
Sometimes there is that shoulder that even after a surgical procedure that just won’t stop pinching.
An advanced assessment can fix this problem. Again the scapulohumeral rhythm could be off. But are you assessing the scapula in the all planes?
Even following a sub-acromial decompression the anteriorly tipping scapula in the coronal plane or the scapula that is rotating forward in the transverse plane?
Either or both will cause pinching pain. Both are an easy fix, once diagnosed properly, the proper corrective manual techniques and strengthening exercises easily resolves this problem.
