Stuart Weitzman‘s first men’s shoe collection has landed in stores.

According to the Tapestry-owned luxury footwear brand, its new men’s line is now available to shop on stuartweitzman.com, in select Stuart Weitzman boutiques in New York and Costa Mesa, and in select retailers including Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom and Level Shoes Dubai.

First seen by FN at the brand’s Milan Fashion Week presentation in September, Stuart Weitzman made a bigger splash for its new men’s collection during January’s Milan Men’s Fashion Week event, which included an appearance by Brooklyn Beckham.

The men’s collection is divided into three lines — Premiere, Club and Resort, designed to offer shoes for all occasions crafted by artisans in Italy.

Deckers Stock Recovers One Day After Downgrade on Hoka DTC Concerns

Shares for Deckers Brands are up Thursday, just one day after the company’s stock took a hit following an analyst downgrade.

On Wednesday, Truist Securities analyst Joseph Civello issued a note downgrading the Goleta, Calif.-based footwear company from “buy” to “hold” on concerns over a direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales slowdown at Decker’s star Hoka brand. The note caused Deckers’ stock to dip nearly 8 percent on Wednesday but it has since recovered.

In his note, Civello wrote that Hoka’s DTC growth decelerated in mid-February and remained softer through March. As a result, Truist lowered its DTC revenue forecast for Hoka to approximately $190 million in the fourth quarter, with 25 percent sales growth, down from approximately $210 million, with 40 percent year-over-year sales growth.

Despite this uncertainty from Truist, the analyst added that Hoka remains a favorite in the wholesale channel and its key franchises continue to top best-seller lists, especially Clifton and Bondi, Civello noted.

This comes after Deckers Brands reported in February that net sales in the third quarter of 2024 increased 16 percent to $1.560 billion compared to $1.346 billion the same time last year.

Pensole and Nike Partner to Launch Design Masterclass Program For Underrepresented Groups

Pensole Lewis College of Business & Design (PLC) in Detroit?has joined forces with Nike to launch a new educational program for underrepresented groups.

Dubbed “Future Sole I PLC,” the tuition-free program includes a series of online and in-person masterclasses in apparel, color, materials, footwear, graphics, 3D design and product marketing. Three department chairs at the D’Wayne Edwards-founded Historically Black College and University (HBCU) — all of which are veterans of Nike — will teach the classes.

“To be taught by former Nike design directors is invaluable,” said D’Wayne Edwards, who himself is a Nike design alumnus. “The program creates a real-time professional environment to develop skills and prepare students for successful design careers.”

Zoom out: In 2022, Nike said it would invest $3 million over three years in PLC Detroit towards free design education to diversify the pipeline of talent heading towards companies like Nike and other major brands.
