Struggling To Achieve Your Goals?

?? My clients grow powerful levels of SUCCESS and credibility in their networking and relationships using LinkedIn and "Attraction Marketing" profitably... want to know more, see my "FEATURED" section below ??
Things not going the right way for you... getting lost in the detail? Success always seeming to just be out of your grasp? Too much to do and so little time?
Just as I was about to see the culmination of three and a half years of hard work start to bear fruit... I took the luxury of starting to reflect on the small successes, the frustrations, the downright crappy situations, the lack of money and resources... and so many other stressful moments over that time... but I could see the light at the end of the tunnel...
Then POW... covid hit… government interference... fear mongering... unrealistic and snap restrictions... seeing years of my effort slowly disappearing...
It dawned on me that most of you have been going through the same thing and many of you will never recover...
I would hope that like me... now that we can start to see the end of this insanity, you can begin to move forward again...
And in moving forward, I was reminded of a piece of sage advice given to me many years ago (the source which has been lost in the sands of time) - "Make Your Goals In Concrete... and Your Plans In Sand!"
No matter what, why, where, when and how things have gone astray, you should always be able to find another way to get to where you want to be, and having a TRUSTED group of businesses associates around you is a very good place to start.
There really isn’t any one approach that can guarantee you success in achieving your goals, but it is clear that there can be a path that can increase your odds.
I have found a way that works for me , and that is to follow this simple process:
1. Determine what it is you really want to achieve (this takes time and often a lot of soul searching).
2. Take a small step toward that goal, consistently.
3. Pause to see what you had to unlearn and then learned from taking that step and
4. Build off that learning... then
5. Take another small step.
6. Pause to see what you had learned and or unlearned from step two... and
7. Build off that learning….
This Act. Learn. Build. Repeat approach can be most successful in reaching your goals.
Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your perspective… you are going to make mistakes... so make them quickly, make them often and learn from them.
For me, on reflection… the remarkable thing is that the goals that I had set several years ago...haven't wavered one single bit...
Call it bloody-mindedness or persistence... but there is merit in knowing what you want and keeping at it...
I want to thank everyone, particularly those who have supported me and those that continue to support me on this mammoth and exciting venture.

2 年Keep going Leo ??
Leo, a great article. I have witnessed the aftermath of Covid and it hasn’t been pretty. Many of us have become depressed and that is a state that is sometimes difficult to climb out of. It makes it difficult to ‘feel’ anything, but If you can think back to your pre-covid days when you had a plan and knew what you wanted then Leo’s advice is on the money. Lewis Carroll wrote ‘If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there.” So a plan is a necessity, and possibly a map, however if all roads lead to Rome, leave space to meander a bit, take a road less travelled and see if that doesnt light the spark you were looking for.
