The Struggles of a Fractional Marketer on LinkedIn: A First-Person Account

Hi, I'm Loic, a fractional marketer. I love my job, but lately, it's been a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

You see, getting new startup clients from LinkedIn is no walk in the park. It's more like navigating a maze blindfolded while being chased by a pack of hungry minotaurs (yeah the ones from your Greek mythology books).

For weeks, I used to log onto LinkedIn with a sense of dread. Will today be the day I finally land a great new client?

I had tried everything to stand out from the crowd. I wrote witty comments, shared insightful articles, and even created a few fictitious web3 companies. But nothing seemed to work. It was like shouting into the void, hoping that someone would hear me.

This is when I started to question my own abilities as a marketer.

  • Maybe I'm not good enough.
  • Maybe I don't have what it took to succeed in this cutthroat industry.
  • Maybe I should just give up and become a professional cat cuddler?!

But then I remembered why I started doing this in the first place:

  • I love the freedom and flexibility to choose the projects I work on.
  • I love helping startups grow and achieve their goals.
  • I love the thrill of the chase and the satisfaction of a job well done.

I refused to let LinkedIn defeat me.

So, I picked myself up, dusted myself off, and tried again. Because that's what being a fractional marketer is all about. It's about perseverance, creativity, and a sense of humor.

And even though I may feel like a tiny fish in a big pond, I know that I'm making a difference, one client at a time.

So if you're seeking a seasoned marketer to help skyrocket your marketing game without burning a hole in your pocket or tying you down with a full-time contract...

Let's connect and make magic happen!

Until then, I'll be here, scrolling through LinkedIn, armed with my laptop and a never-ending supply of 'joie de vivre'. Ready to take on the world, one startup at a time.
