Hello agian,
Jordan here! Today I am going to discuss the best time to train and how we can fit this is sustainably within our busy schedules!
So when is the best time to train? ? ??
The answer is the time that suits you best and the time you are most likely to be able to commit to going in the long term!
There is no point in trying to force yourself to go to the gym at a certain time if it’s not working for you, as you won’t sustain it.
If you are a morning person and work best in the early hours of the day - train then ??
If you prefer to do your workouts in the evenings - crack on ??
If you work shifts or are at uni and the middle of the day fits your schedule - absolutely ideal ??
Personally, I prefer to train in the mornings for the following reason:
I’m a morning person and I am at my peak performance early in the day ??
The workout energises me and sets me up for the day ?

No matter what else happens later that day, my workout is in the bag ??? ♀??
There are no distractions at 6 or 7am - I.e. no one is asking you to go for a pint ?? or go out for a meal ??. There’s also unlikely to be anyone emailing you from work ???
If my clients are flexible about when they train, I would always recommend the morning for the above reasons but as I said at the start - train when suits you ??? ♀?
All of my clients have a training plan that is:
REALISTIC
ENJOYABLE
FLEXIBLE
The above components will enable you to stay consistent and continuously show up. Do those things and you will make progress ?? The time of day does not matter ??
