Structuring Health Benefits to Meet Diagnosed Employee Health Care Needs

While all employers are striving to slow the ongoing rise in their Total Cost of Health Care (medical plus pharmaceutical), most are focused intently on their rising drug spend?–overlooking by far the biggest share of those total costs, which is hospitalization.?

Warren (Ren) Brown, M.D. , Founder & CEO of Proactive Care Partners , now is putting his years of success in significantly slowing the increase in medical spend and total cost of care at a large national grocer?– using proactive primary care to reduce avoidable hospitalizations?–to offer other employers a health plan option designed around the data-diagnosed health care needs of their employee population. ?

IHPM is working with Dr. Brown and Proactive Care Partners to bring this option to its employer network, and we’re pleased to share his recent presentation at the Institute’s Spring Forum in Paradise Valley, Arizona: Structuring Health Benefits to Meet Diagnosed Employee Health Care Needs.

Dr. Warren Brown is showing how to reduce the Total Cost of Care by avoiding unneeded hospitalizations, which also improves productivity by keeping people at work -- making Proactive Care Partners a natural ally for IHPM.
