Structure and Working Principle of Vibro Sifter

Feeding port: The design of the buffer plate makes the material flow into the screen surface evenly, and the material is inspected through the observation port.

Dust Cover: It confines the material and keeps the machine and surrounding environment free from dust.

Vibration Motor: This motor causes the Vibro sifter to generate multi-planar vibrations, this motion increases the speed of the material through the various sieves.

Spring: Allows the entire upper part of the machine to vibrate freely, it helps minimize power consumption, prevents any vibrations from being transmitted to the floor, and reduces noise.

Screen: Maintains tension and makes it easier for material to move in the direction of vibration. This can be horizontal or vertical. One machine can achieve both aggressive and gentle material separation.

Discharge port: The size of the discharge port can be designed according to the needs, and the discharge speed through the valve can be adjusted according to the needs.

In addition, the bottom of the Vibro sifter has a side outlet through which the obtained product can be unloaded. Screens can be ordered with or without product outlet, and in the case of a screen with outlet selected, the screening process can be automated: when product enters the Vibro sifter, it also leaves through the screen opening.

The material to be separated is fed through the hopper (the small hole on the top of the Vibro sifter), the screen/sieve will start to vibrate, then, the material fed into the hopper will pass through the sieve according to the particle size, and the particles larger than the sieve hole will stay on the screen surface , called the oversize, and the particles smaller than the sieve hole pass through the sieve hole, which is called the undersize.


The actual screening process is: after the crushed materials with different particle sizes and mixed thickness enter the screen surface, due to the vibration of the screen box, the material layer is dispersed, and the small particles take the opportunity to pass through the gap and transfer to the lower screen surface. Small and large particles cannot pass through and will stay on the sieve surface, so the original disordered particle group is separated, that is, stratified according to particle size, forming a regular arrangement of small particles at the bottom and coarse particles at the top. The fine particles that reach the sieve surface, those smaller than the sieve hole pass through the sieve, and finally realize the separation of coarse and fine particles, and complete the sieving process.

The Vibro sifter allows a production volume of 100 to 5000 kg/hour, depending on the product, mesh size and the feed flow of the machine.
