Microsoft Teams - Quick Tips for End Users
In the days of Corona, many companies suddenly rely on letting their employees work from home to keep operations going. In a hurry, there is often a lack of training so that employees can’t get the best out of the solution. I'd like to show you some quick tips to help the end user get along better.
Tip 1: What is this Teams?
Microsoft Teams can be imagined as your office, just virtually. So let's imagine your company building is the Microsoft Teams Service. Then each floor is a separate team, e.g. its own department.
On each floor there is usually a room plan and in each room there are multiple colleagues working on same or similar responsibilities. And, of course, in each room you’ll also find regarding documents, notes and, for example, recorded conversations.
Microsoft Teams can be understood in the same way. We have a floor (Team), e.g. for a department, with dedicated rooms (Channels), where Documents, Notes and other working materials are stored.
Team up! ??
