STRONGHOLD: 10 PHILOSOPHY LIFE LESSONS

Brendan,

Remember life is a journey and we should enjoy our journey. I hope this helps you and others find your path in life. 

1.   We can all benefit from more training and practice. 

  • True fitness is task oriented.
  • Activity fosters creativity.
  • Train with a purpose


2.   The only way forward is forward.

  • Keep moving forward. Don’t stop!
  • Never quit on yourself. Believe & Overcome
  • Get moving! Exercise is beneficial for human longevity.


3.   Face challenges head on.

  • No Retreat. No Surrender.
  • Activity is fundamental to authentic education.


4.   The right thing is the best thing.

  • No short cuts. Keep your moral compass pointing true north.
  • Don’t compromise with evil.


5.   There’s a better way – Find it!

  • Find a way or make one
  • Slow and steady often times wins the race


6.   Drive – Desire –Determination – Dedication – Discipline

  • Stay Focused & Stay on Target


7.   Exercise is the best medicine

  • Exercise isn’t just for the body.
  • Fitness of Mind, Body & Spirit
  • Spiritus Invictus – "Unconquerable Spirit"


8.   We can work harder.

  • Push yourself. Don’t settle.
  • Push harder, faster, further…


9.   Always make time for your family/tribe

  • One Family. One Tribe. One Team.
  • The active life requires rest.
  • Go outside.
  • Have fun!


10. Know what is important to you and ignore everything else.

  • If something is not important to you don’t waste your time on it.
  • Remember we can make more money. We cannot make more time.
  • Life is short and precious. Make your time count.
