The strongest women I know...
Chrissie Davis (FCG) ????

...are the ones who challenge the status quo.?
Today, to celebrate #InternationalWomensDay, I want to show gratitude to some of the women who’ve helped me grow in business – those who use their voices to inspire change and encourage me to do the same.??
Gabbi Stopp FGE FCG inspires me to find my voice, step out of my comfort zone and speak at more industry events. As the face of ProShare for 5 years, I admire the way she frequently and eloquently spoke up for our industry. She uses her voice to push for change, in the belief that share ownership should be widely accessible.?
Sandy-lee Connolly inspires me to be bold and push for positive change. We studied together, and I’ve watched the trajectory of her own career shift from CoSec?into DE&I and wellbeing – areas she is fiercely passionate about. She exhibits strength and tenacity, pushes for more awareness in these spaces and has an energy and drive that make me think if she can achieve, I can too.?
Alison B. inspires me as a leader. Alison recently led the launch of a global share plan to the tightest of timescales. She never lost her cool, handled all her stakeholders brilliantly, and beat all the odds to get the project out on time. What impressed me most was how she consistently gave praise and recognition, whilst encouraging and empowering her team to get the job done – which we did! Her leadership was a key component in making the project?a pleasure to work on.?

All three of these women continuously reinforce my desire to always reflect, improve and strive for greater impact. It also feels apt today to champion all the other amazing women out there using their voices to challenge the status quo, in their industries and beyond. It inspires others to do the same. ?
In business, this can feel uncomfortable – I certainly was as a young entrepreneur when I started out 10 years ago! That's why at Eximia , our mantra is to #ChallengeTheProcess. This bold statement guides me in the way I make decisions and lead my team.?
And?I can’t celebrate International Women’s Day?without a big shout out to them. I’m humbled to work with Charlotte J. , Martha Parkhurst , Claire Weekes and Lisa Harrison – you inspire me each and every day, professionally and creatively. Also a big thank you to our male colleagues who continue to support us, facilitating progression and equality at Eximia.

June Knowles for being wise, patient and kind, and always calm and collected, no matter what's happening around. Hands down the best person to have around when the world is falling apart. Chrissie Davis (FCG) ???? for her unending enthusiasm for everything, and the way she empowers those around her to bring their best selves to work. And plenty, plenty more - women who inspire and have made the way smoother for us, so we can make it smoother for the next generation.
