Be Strong Again

I have been to that place

The depths of despair

Where all you find is misery there

The blackness the shadows

The loss of hope

A place where fear thrives

You struggle to cope

The disgrace you feel from within

No place to run and hide 

The heaviness of the battle

Waves of emotion 

Holding you down

Your Souls sadness

You clearly drown

When you hit rock bottom 

There’s no further to go

You have a choice and it’s hard to make

Stay there and waste away

Feeling drained by the pain

Or rise back up out from the dark

Reignite your inner flame 

One gentle step at a time

Back towards the light of hope

Your purpose 

Your life

Divine 

Reach out to those who understand 

Your struggles and your strife

Hold on tight

Help others to survive 

Let them know what it’s like to be in your shoes

Vulnerability 

Your perception 

Valid point of views

Set your spirit free

Depression and sadness

Debilitate

Stops you from living 

And it’s never too late 

This battle can be won 

You have the courage deep within

Just take your moment 

Regain control 

Shine bright like the Sun

Release the chains of pain

Know you are worthy and you are loved

Live your life

Push through 

Be strong again
