Actively Taking Part in Global Initiatives?

In 2023, DL E&C joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) which is a major global initiative on sustainable business management. The voluntary initiative launched by the United Nations to promote corporate social responsibility currently has over 20 thousand companies from 165 countries around the world participating. As a participating member, DL E&C is committed to the UNGC principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption. The company also supports the sustainable development goals (SDGs) proposed by the UN in 2015. We engage in activities to promote each goal by aligning our strategies to contribute to the UN SDGs which is the global framework to bring a sustainable future.

?2023 Sustainability Report <link>

DL E&C issued its ‘Sustainability Report’ which contains the company’s business results in relation to the environment, society, and governance. In this year’s report, an ESG Management Strategy was devised based on the company’s long-term aspirations and 9 key focus areas under the 3 themes of sustainable green construction (E), fulfilment of social responsibility (S), and responsible business (G). Each focus area includes specific targets to be met by 2030, demonstrating the company’s efforts to create ESG value through each of its business areas.
