STRIPED PYJAMAS: 10 000 Jewish People

Jewish People lived in the most Inhumane conditions while they were in Auchwits. Dogs, Cats and Cows lived in better conditions compared to Jewish people in Auchwits Concentration camps. Every morning they woke up in an undignified manner they woke up to screams and shouting and every morning prisoners had to "line up and take off their hats. Prisoners received 3 meals per day, they received half a litter of coffee, boiled water or tea. The noon meal consisted of a liter of soup, the main Ingredients were potatoes and rutabaga, small amounts of groats, rye , flour and avo. The food was so disgusting and awful that new prisoners struggled to eat the food, Supper consisted of black bread with 25 grams of sausage, margarine and cheese. Malnutrition was common in the concentration camps, SS soldiers killed prisoners at random and many of the prisoners were sent to Gas Chambers especially if they were sick and old, other prisoners simply died of starvation sicknesses. Prisoners who were suffering from Starvation sicknesses were oftentimes sent off to the Gas Chambers, upon arrival to the Concentration Camps Prisoners were stripped naked and their hair cut off while standing frozen in the most brual weather conditions. Since 1942 , a total of 10 000 Jews were executed everyday.
