Great post Henning Schwinum. While I tend to be biased toward simplicity and "direct" approaches to problem-solving, I also recognize that there are many truly complex issues out there. So, simple solutions don't always work. Fortunately, there are tools (such as Issue Tree Analysis) which can help us break down complex problems into constituent parts, providing opportunities to apply an array of solutions to problems. In the world of complex enterprise sales, with many stakeholders and stages, it's essential to bring many different types of solutions to the sales challenges along the journey.
