Welcome to Strides of Hope: Join me in a 500 Km Journey to Empower Youth! ????♀?

Hi everyone!

I am Pamela Smith, and I’m thrilled to invite you to join me on an incredible journey to support Youth Unlimited Edmonton (YUE). Since December 2020, I’ve had the privilege of working with this amazing non-profit charity and have witnessed some amazing things happen in young lives.

For every Mission in Motion event, I’ve cycled between 25 and 50 km, but this summer, I’m stepping up to a new challenge! I’ll be cycling, walking, running, and rollerblading a total of 500 km to raise $20,000 for at-risk youth in our community. I would be thrilled to have you join me on this incredible adventure!

?? Why I’m Doing This ??

While my work primarily involves behind-the-scenes tasks, my heart and passion are deeply invested in our mission to support at-risk youth. I’ve seen firsthand the incredible work happening at our youth centres, and the positive changes in the lives of these young individuals are truly inspiring. This year, I’m setting a personal goal to cover 500 km, a testament to my commitment to making a difference.

?? About Youth Unlimited Edmonton ??

Youth Unlimited Edmonton operates four drop-in centres: the Cellar, the Vault, and the Core in Edmonton, and the Garage in Elk Point. Our vision is to see every young person have the opportunity to explore their potential, understand their worth, and discover hope. This year, we aim to reach over 1000 youth, serve 8000 meals, and create positive change in our community.

1. Donate $20.00 or More: Your contribution can provide a safe space for at-risk youth, snacks, hot meals, and a fun, judgment-free environment for our local vulnerable youth. 4. Sponsor My 500 Km Challenge: Help me reach my goal as I take on this 500 km journey over the summer. Every dollar brings my team and me closer to our $20,000 goal! Your contribution will significantly impact at-risk youth by funding essential programs and resources that foster their growth and success. For example, your donation could help provide after-school programs, mental health support, hot meals and snacks, or one-on-one mentorship for a young person in need. Your sponsorship will be featured on my fundraising page, in our campaign materials, and across social media.
