World Report: The WHO-CDC reports says 110 million people Die Every Year as a direct result of STRESS. That is seven people every 2 seconds.
The report found that stress was the most commonly occurring condition, affecting 14% of the global population up to three times a week, and that women reported significantly higher rates of stress than men on a weekly basis (33% vs. 18%, respectively)
WHAT IS STRESS?
Stress is nothing but “State of mind” “It is a Body reaction to a situation whether they’re real or perceived. During stress response, your heart rate increases, breathing quickens, muscles tighten, and blood pressure rises.
We must be very aware of major type of stress we come across in our daily life :
TIME STRESS: In pursuit of Timely reaching and meeting deadlines create incredible amount of stress in daily routine. Few examples are running late to office & meetings, dropping kid to schools, stuck in traffic jam, meeting project deadlines, sales target deadlines, payments deadlines.
RESOURCES/ MONEY STRESS: In modern world MONEY is must so we all run to earn and accumulate money so that we don’t live in stress however we get more stress while making money/ resources (Cash, House, car, vacations and other luxurious items). We don’t enjoy this process rather we get driven by it and live very stressful life.
WORK STRESS: Modern workplace/ Business demand more commitment and dedication than ever before which leads to great stress level. We are trying incredibly hard to meet our work/ business goals and commitment and in this process we come across tremendous amount of stress in our life.
INFORMATION STRESS: In modern world information is key. Tons of information available across social media, TV and internet. We are trying incredibly hard to keep up and grasp the available information which greatly increase our stress level. Stay connected with Digital world and social media develop tremendous stress too.
RELATIONSHIP STRESS: Human are social animals and we are trying our best to manage our relationship with spouse, children’s, family and friends. Meeting people expectations and balancing the relationship also cause lots of stress.
ILNESS STRESS: We all come across bad health in our life as a result we face lots of stress since we utilize lots of energy and money to get our-self cure hence in this process mount lots of stress.
Stress Symptoms: Stress can make you sick, both mentally and physically.
STRESS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS LIKE:
· Heart Disease
· High Blood Pressure
· Diabetes
· Depression
· Anxiety disorder
· Other illnesses
HOW TO COPE WITH STRESS:
· Consider the following ways to keep stress in check:
· Take care of your health and make time for regular checkups
· Use your ANALYTICAL MIND instead REACTIVE MIND
· Exercise Exercise Exercise!!!!!!
· Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet
· Eat and sleep on time ( be in ROUTINE)
· Get support from friends and family
· Recognize signs of stress such as difficulty sleeping and lack of energy
· Make a to-do list to get your priorities in order (PRIORITY)
· Give yourself a pat on the back for what you’ve accomplished each day
· Let go of problems that you cannot fix
· Schedule time for yourself to relax, retrospect yourself
· Consider yoga or meditation , it will calm you down
· Give breathing exercises a try
· Spend some time outdoors for a change of scenery, be with nature
· Try your hand at a new hobby such as running or painting or anything you like to do
CONCLUSION:
· We must use our ANALYTICAL MIND to respond to situations rather most of us use RACTIVE MIND which brings tons of stress!!!!!
· Follow Routine: Timely Eat, Sleep & Exercise
· Enjoy the journey of life whatever you do!!!!!
· Live in Present world let’s not live in past and future (that incredibly grow our stress level)
· Things / situation which are not it control let it go.
· Get social , laugh, enjoy life moments, be with nature.
· Give away whatever you can afford to donate to needy peoples , there are incredible happiness in #giving pledged
