Strengthening Ties: Egypt and Turkey Sign MoU for Major Industrial Zone

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Turkish company Polaris, for the development of an integrated industrial and logistics zone in the New Administrative Capital. The signing took place during President El-Sisi's meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an in Ankara.

The MoU was signed by the Transport Minister, the Industry and Trade Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister of Egypt, Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir, on behalf of Egypt, and Mr. Osman Evran, General Manager of Polaris, on behalf of Turkey.

The new industrial zone will cover 500 fully serviced acres and will operate under the needed environmentally friendly systems in accordance with the highest global standards. The zone will feature an investor services building, retail outlets, training centres, and conference halls.

This initiative marks a new chapter in strengthening Egyptian-Turkish relations in the fields of industry and trade, benefiting both nations.
