Strengthening ties across the globe

In a fiercely competitive global market for hydraulic cylinders, the surge in demand driven by sustainability projects such as dams, recycling facilities, and hydro power stations is undeniable. At current, approximately 5-7% of all electricity produced in Australia is hydroelectricity , however, this percentage is set to increase rapidly in the next decade following the government's nod to Low Emissions Technology Statement. This surge necessitates action from suppliers, not just to meet project demands but to propel Australia towards a net-zero future.

Preparing ahead, Bosch Rexroth Australia recently made a transcontinental visit to the Bosch Rexroth Changzou cylinder manufacturing plant in Wujin, Changzou, Jiangsu, China to discuss the capabilities of the plant. “The majority of all our cylinders supplied come from our colleague over in the Wujin plant" says Business Development Manager Daniel Begley. "They have a very specialized manufacturing facility that is capable of producing both standardized & highly customised cylinders to meet any application. When we arrived we were able to see a large Luffing cylinder"

With the need for hydraulic cylinders increasing to allow the path for a more sustainable future, relationships like the one Bosch Rexroth Australia has with Bosch Rexroth Changzhou is important. Rod Elvin, Managing Director of Bosch Rexroth Australia and New Zealand agrees. "Strengthening our international relationships is essential.
