In April, members of the Nordson Korea team visited the USA to support the initial installation of advanced system units at Hyundai Mobis' facility in Savannah, Georgia. This included commissioning of the Nordson systems and extensive training as part of Hyundai Mobis' significant investment of $1.5 million in Nordson equipment, which included cutting-edge AltaBlue Melters and Harmony spray applicators designed to enhance their production line efficiency and precision.

The commissioning and training program was comprehensive and multifaceted. It was designed to equip the customer with the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of Nordson’s equipment within Hyundai Mobis' production processes.

The training program also included sessions on best practices for maintaining and troubleshooting the AltaBlue Melters and Harmony applicator spray applicators. While in the USA our Nordson colleagues also visited the Johns Creek facility in Georgia and received additional training on advanced installation techniques, detailed production status reports, and handling methods for Top and Bottom products as part of our NBS Next methodology.
