Strengthening Blue Mountains Campus in Upper Hutt
In August 2022, Rockbond collaborated with LT McGuinness Ltd and Solid Art on a retrofit project at Blue Mountains Campus, focusing on strengthening the concrete shear walls and columns.
This project highlights the effective use of advanced materials and skilled installation, resulting in a strengthened and resilient structure that meets modern safety standards while maintaining the campus’s aesthetic appeal.
Introducing Our Galvex Hybrid Anodes
Typical corrosion, defined as galvanic corrosion, occurs when two different types of metal are in contact with each other and surrounded totally or partially by an electrolyte. GALVEX hybrid anodes will corrode and sacrifice themselves and therefore protect the steel or reinforcing structure being attached to it.
