In a significant move toward bolstering agricultural development and innovation in Sierra Leone, a courtesy call was made by high-level representatives from the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) to the Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute (SLARI). The delegation, led by Deputy Director General Dr. Kenton Dashiell and Director of Development and Delivery, Dr. Alfred Dixon, met with Prof. Abdulai Jalloh, the Director General of SLARI, to discuss the outcomes of the recently concluded Seed Business Summit and explore ways to enhance the IITA-SLARI partnership.
