A process by which professionals can reflect on their experiences to evaluate their effectiveness and consider ways to improve their practice. It can help to enhance professional learning, identify strengths and areas for growth, and foster a culture of inquiry and collaboration. Some examples of reflective practice are :
Restorative and reflective practices are essential elements of professional life that help promote positive outcomes for those we serve. However, they also come with challenges, such as time constraints, stakeholder resistance, lack of training and support, and emotional demands. To overcome these challenges, it is essential to have a clear vision and purpose for restorative and reflective practices, seek resources and guidance from experts and peers, start small and build on successes, and celebrate progress and achievements.
