-Strength for Today- "Are you Living Your Life’s Purpose?" - Psalm 57:2

Do you find yourself stuck in your daily routine making it feel like the days are just passing you by? Do you struggle to find the purpose in what you do? Well, today doesn't have to be just another day. Today could be the day that you find purpose. I say this because purpose isn’t measured by what you have done compared to what someone else has done, but by what you’ve done compared to what you’re supposed to do. The only way to know your purpose is to experience and walk closely with the One who has created and destined you for it.

If you’re a Christian, there’s no reason for you to be running around trying to discover your purpose. Because it’s in experiencing God that your purpose will be made known. So, experience God, and you’ll experience your purpose. Because

one of the greatest benefits that arises out of a close relationship with our heavenly Father is in His ability to:

·      Guide,

·      Direct, and

Prepare us for the purpose He has for our lives. When you truly embrace the principle found in Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God,” you’ll experience the abundant joy that Jesus Christ promised you. And each day will be spent with a new awakening. Because when your “soulish eyes, that is your purposeful energy spent on worldly:

·      Emotional and

·      Mental trauma,

You’re opened to the realm of the Holy Spirit, and you’ll no longer be spending your energy trying to see if this plan will work, or if this relationship will work, or if this job will work, or if this path will work. Because when you know within your soul and spirit that:

·      God, is

·      God,

You’ll seek to get close to Him, and He’ll show you “your “path,” “your job,”  and your “meaning” and “purpose.”  So, if you want to experience God’s purpose for your life, experience God. Don’t go looking for His will, look for Him. Because it’s in this close, abiding intimacy with the Father that you’ll not only discover, but you will also live out the destiny He has purposed for you. Psalm 57:2 says, "I cry out to God Most High, to God that performed all things for me.” This is key in understanding God’s purpose for our lives He has numbered our days and will fulfill every purpose He has for us.

Stand Still (Until His Will Is Clear)

What do I do when I don't know what to do, what do I say, when I don't know what to say?

Where do I turn, what are the answers to those questions, that seem to have no answers

What do I do, when I don't know what to do, what would you have me to say Lord

Each and every day Lord, when I don't know what to say, where do I turn, what are the answers, what are the answers to those questions Lord, that seem to have no answer, oh, oh, oh, I'll stand still, until, your will is clear to me I'll just stand still until you fill in the missing pieces.
