-Strength for Today- "Who’s the Owner of Who You Really Are?" - Ephesians 4:27, 30

 The word “own” or “owner” speaks to a present tense control of:

·       Someone or

·       Something

    That’s independently possessed.  It then is a fact that everything possessed had to have had a beginning. From the beginning:

·       God chose “divine imagery”, (Genesis 1:27), while the

·       Enemy of mankind sought an “evil inclusion”, (Genesis 3:4-5).

     And because of his perverted intent, all humans since Adam and Eve have become creatures of “evil expectation.” That is, man lives for the moment, while operating under a belief that,

·       Whatever it may be,

·       Will be,

      With no thoughts for present of future circumstances. But on the contrary, because God never created man to live “independently” from Him, or to possess anything that didn’t confirm to His holy standard. Because even in man’s space of disobedience, the “ownership” of the universe never shifted from God’s control. Even though Adam and Eve chose to:

·       Disobediently

·       Disrupt

   God’s plan, their thoughts of darkness didn’t prevail, because man can never undo that which God has put in place. But as surely as my name is Plez Lovelady, Jr., there’re many Christians who have a satanic stronghold in their lives, believing that they’re where they are, by their own doings. And with such a mind-set, there’s no spiritual growth in their lives, because the “falsehood” of their worth has become a contaminate, which allows the devil to build a beachhead, a stronghold in their minds. And the devil uses that stronghold to war against God and His work.

    So whatever you do, be obedient to God. Whatever season you’re in, devote it to Christ, and cultivate a mind-set for faithfulness. Wherever you are and whatever you hope to do, offer it to God, and do your part in being faithful and obedient. Be honest with where you are in your faith walk, because the best way to get to where you want to be is to be faithful where you currently are, believing that He’s the “owner” of

·       Yesterday,

·       Today and

·       Tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8), and

    Not you in your “pride for possessions, nor the devil who in his “deceitful mode” is constantly trying to conform you into the “lustful” ways of the world.  So be where you are and,  “Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness” – Psalm 37:3 NASB.
