-Strength for Today- "What is Life?" 2 Corinthians 5:18-20.

If you’d ask any of the tens of thousands of people who’re protesting, from the various ethnic backgrounds, “What is life, and why does “life matter” to God”? No two people will give you a definitive answer. Because each group of people, without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, can only give you the world’s interpretation of life. Because without the love of God in our heart, life becomes an:

·       Unpleasant interlude, that’ll lead to Satin’s

·       Concept of nothingness.

Scripture gives clarity to the devil’s depraved motive when it said, “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul – Genesis 2: 27. So when the question of life is asked about any man, the compelling answer must be that, “All life is a divine gift, which is an:

·       Expressed

·       Extension, of

God’s creative purpose.”  John 1:4 says, “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.”  We know that God sent His Son into the world as:

·       His unspeakable Gift, therefore that makes

·       Life a GIFT from God.

All lives matter to God. And for anyone to devalue His purpose for life makes him or her, significantly evil. Because all that God created He did so:

·       On Purpose, for

·       A Purpose.

That’s why God sent His Son, to the earth, for the purpose of pointing us      back to Him. Look at it this way; of the seven and a-half billion people on earth, God designed you significantly unique, even down to your DNA, to be His: Image-bearer, and to bring

·       Him glory, and to

·       Let that glory be known to all nations.

The Gospel is at its core, is a message that brings “newness to life” (2 Corinthians 5:17), where there was

·       Once animosity, and

·       Strife,

Obedient faith transformed us. We owe this all to Jesus, because now His love of purpose, can now shine with it’s diverse purpose, between us and our neighbors—whether they’re:

·       Red,

·       Yellow,

·       Black,

·       Brown, or

·       White,

Because, if we belong to Jesus, we’re part of His movement to bring reconciliation between people and God. As His representatives, we have the opportunity to share how the life-changing message of the Gospel creates a healthy altitude with God, and people, no matter who they are.

Our job, as we learn to follow Jesus, includes reconciliation because His message  is that all, by faith, belong to God where there’s

·       No separation, and

·       No difference in status or worth.

My Life Is in Your Hands

You don't have to worry, and don't you be afraid, joy comes in the morning, troubles they don't last always. For there's a friend in Jesus,

who will wipe your tears away, and if your heart is broken, just lift your hands and say...

Oh, I know that I can make it, I know that I can stand; no matter what may come my way, my life is in Your hands.

With Jesus I can take it, with Him I know I can stand; no matter what may come my way,

my life is in Your hands.

So when your test and trials, they seem to get you down, and all your friends and loved ones

are nowhere to be found.

Remember there's a friend named Jesus, who will wipe your tears away,

and if your heart is broken, just lift your hands and say, my life is in Your hands.
