-Strength for Today- "Touching the Heart-beat of God." - Isaiah 42:8.

  “I am the LORD: that is my name: and My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images” - Isaiah 42:8. It’s obvious that He expects us to worship Him in “spirit and truth.” “True worship” is a deep expression that transcends into the relm of the Spirit of God. Just like “unconditional love” is an expression from the heart of God. 

 “True worship” only goes to God. Sadly, thousands of “church-goers,” aren’t aware of the “satanic worship” that springs up each week, orchestrated by Satan, whose desire is to energize the “pulpit,” and “confuse those in the pews with “fleshly elevating messages, (1 John 2:15-16), so that the “spirit” of man isn’t on worshiping God, but to worship him. That’s the reason he was thrown out of heaven, as an anointed cherub angel, because he wanted to sit on the throne of God. 

 True worship is more than coming our coming together, “slapping one another on the back,” “singing songs, "taking up offerings, “listening to sermons,” and going off thinking that we’ve worshiped God. “True worship” isn’t bound by time or programs, but on allowing God to sit on His throne, and we wait at His feet. 

    True worship expresses total “dependance” on God. It’s a conveying display of absolute “surrender.” True worship, opens our eyes so that we can see that God alone is holy, and our righteousness are just filthy rags before Him. Paul said, “For this cause, I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” - Ephesians 3:14 

 There’s “spiritual freedom in “true worship.” Jesus said to those who believed in Him, “...ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” - John 8:32.  

  One thing you need to know about “true worship” is that our spirit is the highest form of our personality; this is the area of God consciousness. Only this part of our personality can be united with God. Our spirit is the only part of our personality that can connect to God not our soul, not your body. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 6:17 "He that is joined to The Lord is one spirit." 

  True worship is an issue of the heart. It’s here that we’re touching the heartbeat of God. Because we’re worshiping in the spirit, and not with empty words that’re inflated with emotions and feelings. It's worshiping in the Spirit. It's giving God His rightful place. There's another important part that touches Gods heartbeat and it’s the heart of worship through our born -gain Spirit – John 3:3. 

Jesus came to save us from that deception of vain worship and to make us true worshipers of God. Because this was the issue in which sin originated.
