-Strength for Today- “Seeing Through the Fog.” - James 4:14.

Seeing our day from God’s perspective is a challenge for us all.?We can get so bogged down with the weight of the world and forget that from God’s perspective, everything looks different.?The older I get, the more I realize?“how precious and valuable time is,” and there’s “a necessary parameter, designed by God for yours's and my life, to?“satisfy His will.”??

??James 4:14 says, “... you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”??So, time is “a?measurable period, in which God has?preordained?events”?for?“the duration of time each of us will spend on earth.” I say this because each of us have?“a designated place, and of purpose,” to be used “for God’s glory.”?Because when we were born again,?“Jesus remade our spiritual lives,” so that we could walk “in our God given?destiny?“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them”?- Ephesians 2:10.?

And for that cause, sometimes God will lead us into?“foggy places,” which?“can be a someplace most undesirable.”?But where He leads you is where He wants you to be. Because sometimes?“where the fog is,”?is?“where God is.”??And in?“the density of the fog,” the guidance of the Holy Spirit,”?will?“shines the light of Jesus Christ”?on?God’s?“designated place of purpose, for our lives”?assuring us that?“the living God”?who “controls the fog,”?“controls all the circumstances of our lives.”??

So, why?am I sharing about fog today? Because, “often?the troubles of life distort our view,” and “the circumstances of life, such as Covid-19,”?“fogs the lens of our soul,”?so?that our?“thinking,” “feelings”?and “our perception of who God is, is lost because we’re focusing on?“the foggy agenda of the media,”?“instead of trusting that God is working in our circumstance.”?

We forget that?“from God’s perspective,”?“the whole situation looks differently from what we see.”?In life two things comes quickly, 1. Fog, and Time.?And each can creep in quickly.?“Fog can overwhelm.”?Fog “can feel oppressive”?and?“suffocating,”?so that before you know it,?“fog is all you see.”?Whereas,?“time is like a ship sailing on the sea.”?And?from birth?“the number of our days set sail,”?and?“only what has been done for Christ?matters”?

So,?remember,?“when the fog comes,” “God is with you,”?and?“His hope is for you.”?You can face the fog through the?wisdom of His promises. And?“you can battle the fog in your life with trust,”?“knowing God is always there.”?So, remember, “there’s a?reason God placed you where you are.”??

To this Psalm 66:8-12?said, “O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of His praise to be heard: which?holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved. For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst?affliction?upon our loins.?Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.”?

God’s Word is truth?no matter what?our life circumstances tell?us.?It’s?in those times,?“we must allow truth to overcome the fog.”?
