-Strength for Today- “The Rightful Meaning of Privilege” - Galatians 2:20.
I’m?sharing this?“mind provoking”?word?“privilege”?today for those?who’ll?prayerfully consider its?“true meaning,”?and will come to grips that the?“granting of worldly appeasements,”?are merely processes of worldly?“pleasure,”?and?“pride,”?and are grossly void “without the blood bought graceful gift of salvation.”?So,?we must conclude that outside of the Lord Jesus Christ, all must settle for?“worldly advantage.”?Any and all?“advantages”?one can have is based?“satanically,” and?“wholistically”?on a system of?“demonic oppression”?designed to elevate?“evil,”?over?“righteousness.”??
?The?distinction between?“privilege”?and?“advantage”?is important because when the?“satanically” induced serpent said to Eve,?“For God knows that when you eat of it, (the forbidden tree), your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil”?(Genesis 3:5), Satan knew that?“advantage”?wasn’t?the?“particular” mode he wanted to imply in the mind of Adam and Eve.??For him,?“privilege”?was the?“propounded”?and?“immoral immunity” he?sought?for himself when Eve was deceived, and Adam sinned.?
So, when the Latin word?“privilegium,”?is used the?reference is to?“privilege”?which is?allocated?to “a law” for?“just one person.”?In other words,?“a benefit is to be enjoyed by an individual”?or?“group beyond what is available to others.” But when you come to?Jesus Christ for salvation,?not only was?“your eternal destiny secured,”?but you were granted?“the greatest privilege ever afforded to mankind.”?
So,?serving God is?“an awesome privilege.”??
??With?“a regenerated heart” and?“with?reverential?worship.”??
??We are most indebted to our awesome God “for saving us from everlasting fire,”?and “it’s our great privilege to give our all to our Saviour.”?Our God is an awesome God!??And because?“Christ takes up residence in the lives”?of those who belong to Him, Paul could say that all his spiritual service was?"according to His power, which mightily works within me"?-?Colossians 1:29. If?you’re?a Christian, all the good you do is through?“the resident power within you,”?because of?“your union with Christ.”?And for that cause “you are rightly?privileged” because?Christ:??
????The life of Christ in you?“preserves,” “controls,” “conforms,”?and?“supplies you.” As a Christian, you can?truly say, I am rightly privileged because,?"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me"?-?Galatians 2:20.?
