-Strength for Today- "Perseverance Over Time Will Bring Your Dream to Fulfillment." -Genesis 41: 41-57.

Anyone can dream, but not everyone is aware that even in a “God driven dream,” there’s a "spiritual process,” needed to reveal insight into the world around us. And for that cause, “Holy Spirit driven dreams,” are always purposefully within God’s will. So, regardless of what some “philosophers” or “phycologist” might say, all “dreams,” directed by God are “purposefully” embedded within the “core” of our “souls,” for the purpose of bringing glory to His name.

For His sake, your dream is “constructive,” that is, it’ll lead you through a “revelatory cycle,” for the purpose of “building a transitional bridge, "where your dream become the “link” between “God’s infinite wisdom,” and “our finite thinking.” When driven by the “Spirit of God,” your dream is taken beyond the surface of “circumstantial situations” into the deep things of God; into the “realms,” where God’s creative Words become “spirit and truth.

For an example, Joseph was around 17 years old when God gave him the dreams of his destiny (Genesis 37:5-11); he was 30 years when he became Governor of Egypt – Genesis 41:41-42. So, when waiting for an answer, sometimes the biggest “test is time.” Joseph had to endure many hardships but he remained faithful to God through it all. If you want to reach your destiny, you’re going to have to “persevere.” Like it was with Joseph, God knows what you’re going through. His answer is anyway according to His timing.

Facing “disappointments,” “hardships,” and “struggles,” are common in this life. But it’s accurate to say that God always gives more than what He promised. When Joseph was made governor, he was overwhelmed and said, “...God has made me forget all my hardship in my father’s house.”- Genesis 41:51.

He was content to live without his family, “but God,” had something else in mind. On top of being “governor over all Egypt,” having, “wealth,” “power” and being “blessed with his own children,” Joseph was “reunited with his family.” When God is fulfilling that promise he gave you; you can be sure there’ll be additions to it because He gives abundantly.

For every fulfilled dream there’s a bigger picture. In the case of Joseph, God used him to “preserve Jacob’s family who were to become Israel.” “He was to use Israel to reveal Himself to the nations of the world,” but more importantly “to bring salvation to the world through His Son Jesus.” Joseph understood a bit of the bigger picture, but obviously not all of it.

We likewise may see only “a bit of God’s purpose,” but there’s always more. One thing you should remember” if you consider letting go of your dreams, you need to know that there is a lot at stake because there’s always the bigger picture!
