-Strength for Today- "Our Country Desperately Needs Revival" - 2 Chronicles 7:14.

What we need here in “our land today” is a heaven-sent revival! Not something drummed up and-generated by man. Our country is “morally and spiritually brokered” and is in dire need of a revival “straight from the throne-room of God.” And not some two or three days of “religious pep talks,” without any "soul renewing purposes.”

It’s important to remember that Solomon had dedicated the new temple, (2 Chronicles 6:12-42), but the prayer had nothing to do with the temple, as it had everything to do with the people of God who would come to pray and worship in the temple. 2 Chronicles 6:18 says, “But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!” He also knew that God was interested in residing in the hearts of His people – 2 Chronicles 6: 30-31.

When revival truly breaks out, in “our land,” and God’s glory is manifested, the focus won’t will be on these, “Divided States of America,” the center of attention will be Jesus! We all need to pray more.

  • It’s not a matter of if God will move in our day,
  • It’s a matter of if God’s people willing to humble themselves and pray.

2 Chronicles 7:14 God says to Solomon, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” America, if we’ll pray, God has promised to move in response to prayer, (Jeremiah 33:3), we're are limited, but prayer taps the unlimited power of Almighty God!

There was nothing magical about Solomon’s prayer. His faith was not in his prayer, but in God. As we pray, we need to come humbly expressing our dependence upon God. Because God gives grace to the humble according to 1 Peter 5:6. “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.”

Revive Us Again

We praise Thee, O God!

For the Son of Thy love

For Jesus Who died

And is now gone above

Hallelujah! Thine the glory

Hallelujah! Amen

Hallelujah! Thine the glory

Revive us again

The country does not need revival. It needs to return to the Word as written and accept it as written. And stop following the doctrine taught as the commandments of men. Salvation is between God, Christ and each person who must save themselves through Christ the Living Word. The Church is not the solution it is the problem. 1 Corinthians 3:16-19 (KJV) 16 ?Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 ?If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 18 ?Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19 ?For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.?? 1 Corinthians 6:17, 19-20 (KJV) 17 ?But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 19 ?What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 ?For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.?
