-Strength for Today-"Mark Your Place!" -John 8:32

Daily people will try imposing different sides of themselves upon you, in spite of who they really are. They will impress upon you how that, “When you’re in need, all you have to do is call upon them, or you have great potential to go far.” But when they’re confronted in your time of need, you see a person whose intent all alone was to:

·       Impress you with their self-importance, because

·       All alone they had no intention of honoring their words.

God has given each believer the ability to detect fraught, and it’s the tool of intercession. Intercession is warfare. Yet it’s more than that, because it involves taking hold to God’s will and refusing to let go until His will comes to pass. But because of greed, we allow Satan’s:

·       Devious, and

·       Deceptive

Words to weave in and cloud your mind, simply because you’ve failed to focus and pray on our God given plan.  All of us are expected to live within God’s framework of rules and regulations.  And walk the path that He’s laid out for us.

Jesus asks us to believe Him even though He speaks of many deep spiritual mysteries. He tells us to believe in the existence of everlasting life. We may not understand some of His teachings, but we believe them because it’s the Lord speaking. We constantly believe thousands of things that exist in this world. For example:

·       I’ve never been to Istanbul, but I believe there is a city by that name.

·       I’ve never seen the heavenly kingdom, but because of Jesus, I believe it exists.

God’s Word is absolute in all its ways. So be content and depend on its promises – Psalm 107:20. Its claims are securely satisfactory, and will never fail. But for different reasons, the world cries out to us with clueless thoughts of emptiness only to deliver us lies, sealed with its intent of:

·       Stealing,

·       Killing and

Destroying your joy, Because Maya Angelou once said, “When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.”  So why must you be shown 100 times before you can see who they really are?
