-Strength for Today- "Living a Life of Courage." - I Corinthians 16:13

Courage can be viewed as a vehicle that can carry you through life’s dark paths.  It also has been defined as “fear that has said its prayers”. Mark Twain said, “Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear.” Therefore, courage is hope, in spite of the unpleasant emotions of fears you face.  Courage then is the only positive platform, that’ll let you:

·       Stand with confidence,

·       Knowing,

    That what you’re hoping for is worth seeking.  So then, when you confront darkness by faith, it’ll will illuminate you path, and shine light on all your uncertainties.  This Light is an encourager, and will give you the brightness and willingness needed to wrestle with the devil’s negativity.  It takes courage to:

·       Follow and

·       Walk

    Into the dark places where your dream lies. So don’t be satisfied standing and sulking over how things are going with others. God’s Word says, “… Be satisfied with what you have…” (Hebrews 13:5b), and unfold, by faith, the dream that He’s given you. Because when you least expect it, even with your life’s challenger’s before you; His hand will unfold before you.  So, “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong,” (1 Corinthians 16:13), “For He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you.”  - Hebrews 135c.

    Life always set challenges before us in order to test our:

·       Courage, and

·        Willingness,

     To stand in spite of discouraging times. So the challenges and trials you face aren’t for tomorrow, but for now. Because life, like a river life doesn’t roll backwards. Likewise, your willingness must be fashioned by faith of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is, “The Author and finisher of our faith…” Hebrews 12;2a.
