-Strength for Today- "Hold On to God’s Unchanging Hand!" - Romans 8:35
Listen…, no matter what you’re facing in life right now, just say thank you to the Lord, and don’t let go of His hand. Perhaps you’re feeling separated from Him due to the:
· Tests,
· Trials and
· Struggles you’re facing in life.
The good news is that nothing that happens to us nor anything that comes against us shall be able to separate us from God's love for us - Romans 8:35. And we can rest assured that:
· Every word and
· Every promise
In the Bible is ours and will come to pass because God cannot lie and He’ll never change. Because our victory lies in Christ Jesus, who is the:
· Unchanging God, in an
· Ever changing world.
Therefore, no enemy on this earth in the form of “man” or “demon” can harm us or take away the great victory we have.
And for that cause, no doubts or fears, today or tomorrow, not even the power of Satan himself can separate us from the love of God which has been revealed through Jesus Christ for us in God's atoning work on our behalf at the Cross!
So I say to today, as children of God just “hold on,” and keep:
· Believing,
· Seeking, and
· Trusting God,
Because He does hear and answer the prayers of His children. He’s concerned about His own. Matter of fact, in 2 Chronicles 16:9a it says “For the eyes of God roam throughout the earth to show Himself strong for those whose hearts are completely His.”
There’s a song that my brother brought to mind today at church that our parents and the saints of old used to sing that’s entitled: "Hold to God’s Unchanging Hand.” And the first verse says:
“Hold to His hand, God’s unchanging hand!
Hold to his hand, God’s unchanging hand!
Build your hope on things eternal and Hold, Hold,
I said Hold to God’s Unchanging God’ s unchanging hand
Therefore, even in your:
· Emotional, or
· Mental struggles,
“Hold on to God’s unchanging hand. He’s our only hope for” today” and “tomorrow”. If there was ever a time to, “Hold on to His Unchanging Hand”, the time is now. His promise to us today is “victory” that has been guaranteed to be our through Jesus Christ.
