Strength for Today- "God’s Remarkable Plan for Your Life." - Genesis: 37:5

     From the “foot span” of “eternity”, God planned your life. Even when:

·       “The echoes of thunder” and

·       “The flashes of lighting,”

   Were evident, He’s faithfully been there to “Escort,” you through your troubled times. God never promised you that you’d be exempt from life’s storms, but He did promise that He’d be the “Captain” of your ship. Because He promised, though, “…the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed: but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD” – Isaiah 54:10

   God has given each of us dreams, but there’s only a few who’ll become their dream. Most people focus:  

·       On the raging storms of life, rather than

·        On the “One” who’s able to Escort them to their place of purpose.

 “You may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith . . . may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed” - 1 Peter 1:6-7.

  So focus on your dream, because the dream that He gave you, “will come to pass”. Your “dream” may not be a “literal” dream, yet you can say, He has shown you something about your life that no one but God could know. He’s given you a dream, yet like Joseph, you didn’t know what you’d have to experience before you get there:

·       Joseph was “set up” and sent to slavery, but

·       God “showed up”, and blessed him with His “remarkable plan.”

    God divinely used His “plan” to escort Joseph, “out of a pit,” right into the very dream his brothers were trying to stop. God is:

·       All-knowing,

·       All-wise, and

·       All-powerful.

     No matter what you’ve experienced, the devil can’t stop whatever God has shown you.  Because God takes it all and divinely turn it into the very blessing, the devil is trying to derail!

      So be encouraged, and don’t stop dreaming. Don’t let go of your dream because of what you’ve been going through. I don’t know why He allowed it, but like Joseph, you will end up blessed and being a mighty blessing to your family and those around you. So keep that dream, because it’s from an awesome God; and He’ll surely bring it to pass!
