-Strength for Today- "The Foundation of the Kingdon" - Matthew 6:33.
The Kingdom that Jesus spoke of was one of which there’s a Guidance of peace, rather than a immoral monster of confusion. Some Christians get nervous when it comes to their Christian's responsibility, as it relates to the culture of all mankind. Many will look to “social concerns,” when trying to justify that blatant sin problem, which is so evident among the “whole-human race.”
But as we look at the world, the night is almost gone, and the dawn is approaching whereas we’ve spent much of our God given season, trying selfishly to solve that of which we have no control. But as sure as the sun rises in the east and the day grows near, brethren, it’s time for us to lay aside the deeds of “disunity” which have us divided from God, and put on the armor of light, and let it shine in the darkness. Because when it comes to the lost, sharing the gospel, and evangelism must come first. Because we must win people to Christ. Jesus said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness...” Without Him as your personal Savior:
- It doesn’t matter how much money people have, or
- How good their jobs are.
Because the foundation of the “Kingdom of God,” truly exist. But it contains none of those things. If those whose dependence total is on those things, they’re those who have no hope and at the end:
- “They die without Christ,” and
- “They die without everlasting live in God’s kingdom life.”
Yet we still must live in this world until Jesus returns, and while we’re here, we need to also be salt and light in our culture, just as Jesus commanded. We’re responsible to:
· Recapture our society for Jesus, and
· Point people to Him and
Promote His righteousness in society!
What a Mighty God we Serve
What a mighty God we serve, angels bow before Him, heaven and earth adore Him
What a mighty God we serve.
He holds the winds in His hand, and He is the great I am, He is the bright and morning star, and without Him I would fall
Angels bow before Him, heaven and earth adore Him, what a mighty God we serve!
