-Strength for Today- "Faith in Action." - James 2:14-17.

Faith isn't a blind leek into darkness, hoping to land:

  • Somewhere, on
  • Something of worth,

But is an absolute dependency on Someone, who’s able to sustain you. One “target” lesson all believers need to learn is to trust God, and praise Him in the uncertain times between:

  •  His promise, and
  •  His right on time deliverance.

   Faith is a:

     1.  Mental,

     2. Spiritual, and an

     3. Emotional muscle,

That won’t develop until it’s practiced.  Faith isn’t just believing that God can do what He says; faith is entrusting yourself to Him so He can do His  work through you. According to Romans 12: 3 “...”God has delt to every man the measure of faith. "And along with this is God’s grace.

The question of faith as it relates to living a life of:

  • Authority, and
  • Power is this:

“Do we believe that if we truly trust God, He will prove Himself to be trustworthy?” We must believe that He’s faithful, and that belief must show up in our actions. God has given to each believer, according to Romans 12:3 a “measure of faith” to use for Him. This “faith” is the gift from which all other gifts flow. And faith is the gift that brings the other gifts of the Spirit into our lives. Our gracious God, by His Spirit, distributes each gracious gift according to the measure of faith He bestows on each believer.

Veronica Petrucci, featuring John P. Keys, in her song, ask a pertinent question, “What are you believing for”? Then says, “I have what I'm asking for.” Therefore, when faith is put practiced, we can “expect great things.”

Scripture sets forth the principles we’re to live by, and God can impress things on our hearts about how He wants us to serve Him as His children. Even when things look as if they might not work out, don’t stop trusting God. Don’t let doubt detour you. When doubt is holding you back, take it to Jesus, just like the man who told Jesus, “I do believe; help my unbelief” (Mark 9:24). And Jesus healed his son.

Others may try to discourage you and tell you that you need to give up on Him, but if you trust God, He will keep walking with you. Trust in Him and His Word. He is with you, and He is for you.

I'm Expecting great Things

What are you believing for? Faith says I have what I'm asking for?

Faith says I have what I'm asking for, expecting great things, I'm expecting great things. I'm using my faith and I'm expecting great things.
