-Strength for Today- “Coping With the Storms of Life.” - Hebrews 13:8.
Hebrews 13:8 says,?“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever,”?but sometimes in the face of trouble, we foolishly ask,?“Why me?”?when it might be more appropriate to ask,?“Why not me?”?We suffer because?“we’re depravedly bent from God.”?So,?to view our?trials?“as punishments by an angry God,?won’t help us cope.”?Our trials may?contain lessons we need?“to helps us grow spiritually,” (Romans 5:3-4), because?“even a tree knows”?that its purpose,?“in the midst of?raging storms,”?is to grow,?“so that it might bear fruit in its season.?
??Being?reluctant toward accepting and responding effectively to life’s challenges,?“is a deterrently opposite of God’s purpose for our spiritual growth.”??So, when?trouble comes,?“even those of us with realistic expectations about life”?may crumble?“when pressed under the weight of life’s disappointments.”?
????So, if we’ll focus on?“God’s grace,”?rather than “the unwelcoming circumstances of?life,”?we’re more likely to acknowledge that in the mist of pain is “the Holy Spirt is guiding us?to?“the peace of God which?passeth all understanding all understanding,” -?Philippians 4:7. Because?“the most?healing,”?and?“the most helpful response”?comes?“when we learn to lean,”?and?“listen respectively”?to the prompting guidance of the Spirit of God,” which’ll allow us?“to?effectively explore His purpose for coping with life’s circumstances.”?
Although you or I?can’t?personally?“fix”?the?“inalienable thrust of demonic injustice,”?but with God’s plan,?“we'll never fear “coping with the storms of life,”?if we’ll remember and?“focus on three unchangeable facts about God.”?Because these?truths are:??
????1. God’s love for you will never change.?
Jeremiah 31:3 says,?“I have loved you with an everlasting love.”?It’s?permanent, so you can build your life on God’s love for you.??Even when?“the storms are blowing”?and?“everything is being uprooted,” “you have God’s Rock of ages to hold?onto.?
????2. God’s Word will never change.?
God’s Word is the same yesterday, today, and forever.?So, build your life on God’s Word. Psalm 1:19 says,?“Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.”?God’s Word, has stood the test of time,?in spite of?being attacked by?“dictators,” “ridiculed by critics,” “burned,” and?“outlawed.”??Therefore,?God’s Word is?

“foundationally?permanent!”?
???3. God’s ultimate purpose will never, ever change.?
He has a plan and? He’s?working it out. The fact of the matter is,?God is at work “right now in human history.”?So even though we?can’t?control this?“Covid-19”?invasion, but we can?“put our trust “in these three truths that are certain.”?
