-Strength for Today- “The Amazing Grace of God.” - Ephesians 2: 8-10.

The most important things to understand about the?“grace” of God”?is?“His identity,” and?“His nature,”?of which?“everything about the Christian faith” rests.?So,?“grace”?is?“God's?“omnipotence”?and?“righteousness”?made possible by the?“passionate sacrifice”?of His Son Jesus Christ.?

Grace is an “unworked favor” from God to “mankind.” It’s?“through grace,”?that God’s “convicting Spirit created?“an effective change,”?in our?“hearts,” and?“lives.”?Because?“grace”?gives us a?“new identity,”?which?isn’t?condemned by God, because “a new thing has come to be.”?

??So,?“the amazing grace of God”?was?“affirmed”?when Jesus died for our sins. This?“voluntary sacrificial act,”?gave all who’ll choose to believe in this freedom to?“spiritually grasp”?this?“free,” “generous,”?and?“totally unexpected,” “spontaneous righteous gift from?God” “an undeserving race of people.?

?Every human-being need to understand that even though?“the gift of grace”?is readily available, and that “God saves us apart from any human works”?“by grace through faith.”??So, we need to remember that our souls have been “saved,”?and now we’re allowed to?“serve God?“by His Grace.”?

When we choose to accept this gift of grace that our Father has freely given to us,?“we're cloaked in it,”?and?that’s?all God sees.?He sees people?“cloaked in His grace”?as being?“justifiably?perfect,”?and “that gives us freedom.”?

Our freedom in Christ Jesus is?wholly dependent?on?“God’s grace.”?His?“grace”?our Heavenly Father has given us?“allows us freedom from the eternal consequences of our sin.”?This grace gives us?“the freedom to forgive those who’ve hurt us,”?and to?“love others unconditionally,”?which?“without the grace of God,”?we?couldn't?do before.?

??Therefore, people who?truly understand?“grace”?have a?"yes"?face.?Moments like that remind us that God will look at His children and say with that?"yes"?face,?"You're in My family.” “You're as important to Me as all my other sons and daughters."?It’ll?take eternity for us to?adequately express?what this truth means to us.?

??In that that God chose us?“in our sinful”?and “rebellious condition”?and “by grace” took us from?“a fruitless harvest”?and “place us at His fruitful table.”?And,?“out of love,”?allowed His tablecloth of?“grace”?to?“cover our sin.”?

??When we?truly understand?“grace;”?when we see?“that God only owes us wrath,” but?has?provided?Christ’s?“merit”?to cover our?“demerit,”?then everything changes. Because our motivation?isn't?merely to obey?“abstract laws,” but to?“love the Lord.”??A true understanding of?“grace”?and?“God’s?unmerited?favor” will provoke a life of?“gratitude,”?and?“obedience.”?
