I guess everybody would agree that the whole mankind has not seen times more adverse than the current ones. Who could have imagined that an invisible, tiny- little virus could stop a dying daughter to meet the father for the last time or that a dead father could not have his last rites done from his son. May be the worst is still staring at us. But what surprises me daily is the zest with which the Human Kind - our species fights with it every single morning.
All that I have witnessed in past 1 year and more is harmony between all mankind. You can definitely blame it on my positive attitude for sure !! But yes I cant stop thinking how- from small community groups to companies to big nations have come together all of a sudden, overlooking every boundary and trivial issues that they may be having before this pandemic hit everyone.
Newspapers may be flooding with obituaries, newly discovered diseases everyday but what they are also flooded with are- unbelievable brave stories of doctors, nurses, medical staff, ambulance drivers, social workers and even a common man who is contributing in every possible way they can. May be that is why we have withstood the testing times and probably put the worse behind us.
Just like the cold of winter produces ice flakes on the window panes which vanishes as soon as the sun comes up with its warmth, the same way the adversity that has come to our life now will definitely vanish when we spread our warmth, love and help to everyone who needs it around. We may be strangers at first- but has not history told us time & again how strangers become heroes by rising up in situations of adversity !!
