Street Photography

Street photography is kind of new for me but I can see how photographers get hooked. It's like being an uncover agent and the mission is to secretly take the photograph without anyone really noticing. Helen Levitt was the master of this... walking around New York City and capturing the most evocative images in black and white. I'm not particularly great in this forum of photography, maybe because I'm shy. However, I am beginning to see through the lens more and more in this way. I fell in love with these ladies and this gentleman, people watching. They weren't speaking to each other aurally or verbally, but they sure were speaking to each other. I love this image because even though I was there, I still wonder what it was that walked by to evoke such a reaction from them? I wasn't paying attention to the walkers by as much as I was to these precious Italian Ladies.
