Streamline Your Business Operations

Business Operations - Keep it simply they say.... Do not over complicate things they say... Okay have you started a new office location or launched a Business Office before?

  • You have to make sure there is proper access for all employees to systems
  • You have to make sure all teams have communications they need functioning properly
  • You have to be able to handle customer service in an effective timely fashion
  • You must make sure orders/services for clients can be processed properly
  • And there is so much more to make sure is functioning effectively and efficiently...

Let us not even begin to discuss a fully operational 'remote office' for multiple employees, sales teams, marketing teams, and administration that not only need to do their own work - BUT collaborate TOGETHER NOT in the same office anymore!

So, let us take a look at some of a Organizations Daily Needs to actually do business:

  1. Primary circuit into the Building - Internet Provider with most efficient offering!
  2. Do we have a proper SDWAN to make sure the data and voice is protected along with being able to monitor our circ uit for issues daily?
  3. Have you researched the proper Firewall to install on the network? You know, without getting sucked into those social media videos of how fancy theirs is but truly established what your circuit speed needs are along with the capability of your SDWAN to send the signal through to the network and then making sure the Firewall you have WILL NOT hinder your speeds or access. Did you know that there are MULTPILE security factors here along with basic operational factors to consider before making this purchase or skimping on something that will get you ransomware?
  4. How are you handling your calls in the office with office personnel vs. field techs, sales teams or remote employees? There are so many variables but this TASK should NEVER be taken lightly because it can cause so much frustration for your office staff along with potential customers alike! Do you go with a managed voice set-up or do you use a Unified Communications Platform that also can coordinate alongside a managed voice phone system?
  5. How are you communicating with the outside world digitally? Do you setup a fax machine - do you utilize a virtual fax? How are you functionally utilizing an email client? There are probably 100 and 1 ways to answer this but there are also a handful of very very effective methods that will save you headaches as you are growing down the road.
  6. Do you utilize a cloud based server? Or are your Organizations CRM, Office Systems cloud based and how are you handling your document management? Do you need someone to assist you in your Organizational Mapping of your Office365 accounts or are you looking in a different direction? This is a major - I mean MAJOR decision that if made well early on in your Organizations Structural design can SAVE you THOUSANDS of development dollars later on once the Organization has grown to a size that now you need a specified path moving forward!
  7. Then there is the always elusive security issue and are you safe an secure to protect yourself - your data - your clients data - or does your Organizations Security Assessment need to be reassessed along with your workstations needing an overview of vulnerability?

So where do you go from here?

You could bring on an expert to review your Organizations Service Providers and Solutions you currently use or do not use to make a fair assessment as well as determining what is best practices for your business at this time. This of course is the FREE portion of the service.

However, like any good assessment it should lay out how you can collaborate your services along with combining billing and support features to streamline your operations. This makes it easier to keep track for your administration and they will love you for it! Overall, you should be able to combine services along with some added features without truly increasing your monthly recurring expenses. But, it you choose to move forward with suggested upgrades to protect your business and clients then you should find a better packaged overall pricing due to you are going to the same MSP Provider for said services and not using two, three, or four companies to service you.

There are many advantages to having a 24/7 Security Team monitoring and managing your organization. Way too many to discuss here!

Just know you have options and you shouldn't just go with who the guy next door did business with or because they sent you a pretty slick in the mail with an initial offer that they are telling you will go up after the initial year way more than you realize. These services companies have million dollar marketing budgets and instead of putting their money where their mouths are they are putting into the mouths of advertising agencies that will drive the overall costs to offer services to you up and up and up over time.
