Streamline Recruitment February Newsletter
Streamline Recruitment
The recruitment specialists - Experts in the provision of employment services.
February is of course the shortest month of the year but it was filled with eventful moments for the Streamline Recruitment team.
Spend a few minutes catching up reading what has been happening around our company in the past month.
Employee of the Month
The Streamline Recruitment Employee of the Month for February was Jacob Waring .
February was Jacob’s most successful month since starting back in late October as he managed to place 4 freelance and 1 permanent placements in the final 3 weeks of the months.
With every conversation with candidates and every new role to work on Jacob has becoming more accomplished as a candidate manager. His skillset is developing further every day, he has shown extra dedication by staying late and even working on weekends.
We expect him to carry on with this momentum throughout the rest of the year, well done Jacob!
Annual Awards
On the 18th our team attended the Streamline Recruitment Annual Awards Night in the Loft Club at the iconic restaurant, The Ivy.
The evening welcomed the entire Streamline team for drinks, a wonderful three course sit down meal and to present the awards. After the awards we welcomed singer Tia Pearman, who got us all up dancing, followed by DJ George Martin to see out the rest of the night.
Everyone was delighted with how the night went, we all celebrated the success of the previous year, both individual praises and company wide achievements.
We look forward to next years one!

The Future of Recruitment
Throughout February we surveyed our LinkedIn network with three polls on what lies ahead for the recruitment world.
This was inspired by discussions had by our team in meetings in the few months prior. We felt that if you looked back 10 years ago, the everyday recruitment process has evolved a lot but the fundamental ideas will always be present.
Knowing that we want to work out where our network thought the everyday for a recruiter is going, focusing on the influence of technology and then the scope for growth or challenges in the industry.
Watch out for our upcoming blog post on this topic in the near future!
GLAA License
In February our logistics team had an exciting breakthrough as we were awarded a Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) License.
The GLAA operates a licensing scheme to?regulate businesses who provide skilled workers to the UK fresh produce sector. This includes agriculture, horticulture, and any associated production, processing, and packaging.
This is an exciting step for our Logistics Divisions to diversify our services by expanding into a new field.
