Strategy workshop leads the way.

I just finished a tremendous two-day marketing and strategy workshop with a new client. Of course, it was more than two days of work because we interviewed their clients to get the customer’s perspective and voice. We researched their online presence and the opportunities available. And then we spent 17 hours in a room filled with white boards and giant sticky notes to map out goals and how we are going to grow their marketing and lead generation into the machine it needs to be.

We dove into messaging, and packaging, and content. We built key customer avatars and set time to really define some standards for their brand.

These folks had a not-so-great experience with another agency that didn’t dive down into customer insights. And they looked at another few agencies before selecting us. They decided to work with our team because of our process in building the plan and our very deep understand of the B2B technology buying/selling cycle.

Of course, developing the plan is challenge number one. Knowing what you are going to do, and getting into a calendar is the first step – now comes execution. The to-do list is long, but we have a map to the destination.

After the workshop, one of the partners follow up with these thoughts: “Thank you again for all the amazing work in our session this week. We are very appreciative of your hospitality as well. We walked away very excited about many things but one in particular…we selected the right team to work with. Looking forward to great things.”
