Strategy - myth buster

Those organization don't have a robust written strategy they come up with two answers

1. we have our strategy in our head
2. we are not ready to have a strategy

Strategy in our head - I don't see any problem if you can prove that your business decisions are guided by whatever in your head and you can do it consistently across the organization in a way that it is now part of the culture. The management and the business owners are aligned and duly empowered.

We are not ready yet to have a strategy - you don't need to be ready to have a strategy or a strategic planning process. You strategic planning process and strategy will make you ready for the VUCA world.

Many organization solve their problems in an unorganized manner like bandaid solutions and it doesn't stop coming back. Then you must deep dive and solve it from beneath the ground.

So what is your plan ? Are you ready for next year's businessplan ?

What about having a strategy session before that ?
