SiA x Kaizen Institute Webinar Highlights

Last week, we co-hosted the webinar on ‘Combining Lean with Strategy Software for Exceptional Strategy Planning and Deployment’ with our certified Strategy in Action Partner, Kaizen Institute Western Europe.

The webinar was facilitated by our team member Ben Davis, as well as Rui Tenreiro, Senior Partner at Kaizen Institute and joined by the guest speakers Andrew Willdig, VP Global Customers at Gunnebo, and James Stewart, Lead Lean Sensei at Baker Hughes.

During the webinar, our hosts highlighted the alignment challenges that are likely to exist within an organisation’s top the leadership about the Vision & Mission of the organisation through a thought experiment, revealing that nearly 60% - 80% leaders are not aligned. This lack of alignment, seen in many organisations globally, can lead to failed transformations, with up to 70% of lean initiatives falling short.

We explored how the Kaizen Change Model integrates Lean methodology with strategic software to address this issue by driving alignment through strategy, value stream, and daily Kaizen (continuous improvement).

The Strategy in Action Programme complements this approach by bridging the gap between strategy consulting and executive education, ensuring commitment at every organisational level and enhancing the success rate of lean transformations.
