I think we can all agree that all of us want to leverage, right? It’s one of the fastest ways to achieve growth, and one of the great things about leveraging is that there are so many available options.?
Strategic alliances, seminars, technology, there are so many things we can use to our advantage. This is why it’s so important that we learn how to use them so we can leverage ourselves into positions we want to be in.?
The Best People in the World know how to leverage their Time and Resources
This is one of the most valuable lessons that I’ve learned from reading several Of Tony Robbins’ books. Having been in the industry for decades now, I can confirm that this is indeed true.?
People that know how to invest their time and resources properly have an almost unfair advantage, because they are getting the best results possible with the least amount of effort.?
Still, we all need to face the reality that leveraging takes time, which could take us a few months to even a few years. If you don’t know how to leverage properly, it will not only cost you valuable time, but resources too!?
This is why whenever someone asks me how they can best leverage themselves, I tell them one very specific piece of advice: Find yourself a mentor who has achieved the results that you want.?

Mentors have the experience that you are looking for?
Mentors are one of the best investments you can make, because they have been in the place where you want to be, and they’ve done a lot of things that you SHOULD take note of.?
Knowledge and experience are absolutely one of the most valuable things you can get, and learning them from experienced veterans can give you a significant edge.?
As I’ve previously mentioned, learning takes time. With mentors though, they could significantly shorten the amount of time you need to learn, and help you get started earlier!?
I personally have invested over $25,000 for mentorships, and I can say that it’s one of the best investments I’ve made. These mentors taught me a lot of new things that I’ve applied to my own homecare agency, and they’ve given me important notes for any mistakes they’ve made and how to best avoid them.?
Of course the knowledge isn’t the only thing that’s great about this. A mentorship is a long-term partnership, and they are going to guide you every step of the way. The relationship that forms out of this will also provide a lot of different benefits that could increase your network. But that’s a topic for a different day.?
Anyway, this is just one of my favorite ways of getting better leverage for myself and my business. If you haven’t gotten a mentor yet, I urge you to look for one who’s achieved the results that you desire.?
