Strategic Faculty Growth Initiatives at KLH to Advance Expertise

The commitment to faculty development and global academic interaction at KLH Aziz Nagar Campus continues to strengthen. A recent highlight in this ongoing effort is the conduct of a 6-day Online Faculty Development Program (FDP). This program, titled "Advancements in Telehealth Industry Using IoT," sponsored by the AICTE Training and Learning Academy, is set for the 2024–25 academic year. It is specifically tailored to advance faculty expertise in crucial healthcare technologies, positioning them at the forefront of medical innovation and application.
Building on this momentum, the campus also hosted a significant IEEE conference on Machine Learning and GIS in Agri-Food Systems. Sponsored by IEEE and GRSS, USA, the conference brought together esteemed global experts to explore how technological advancements are reshaping agriculture and global food systems. This event served as a platform for discussing the integration of cutting-edge technologies in the agri-food sector, highlighting the campus's role in fostering international academic dialogue and collaboration.
Additionally, a two-day International Conference on Multidisciplinary Dialogue was conducted, featuring four esteemed international speakers and 39 presentations across nine sessions, enriching the academic experience.

Another 5-day International Workshop titled "Collaborate, Create, Innovate: A Workshop on Multidisciplinary Teaching and Research," in association with the Cape Comorin Trust, India, also took place. Researchers and educators from ten different countries, including Australia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Portugal, and the Philippines, participated in the workshop. Ten internationally reputed resource persons delivered talks and shared their expertise, aiming to enhance the skills and knowledge of faculty members and researchers.
Further bridging the gap between academia and industry, the Department of Alumni Relations organized a workshop on "Physical Design," led by Mr. Ramana Kumar G, an alumnus and accomplished Embedded Software Engineer. Sharing his journey from college to entrepreneurship, Mr. Ramana Kumar provided valuable insights into Design Thinking and Innovation.
Additionally, another alumnus, Dr. B. Jamuna from the Y19 Batch of Ph.D., delivered an insightful lecture on the "Role of Mathematics in Signal Processing."
